The Road More Travelled
A couple of years ago my wife Michelle and I went on a jaunt around the world, having ditched our jobs, rented out our home and offloaded the cat on our in-laws. The journey took in five continents, 14 countries and a lot of different beds (we stopped counting at 250).When I returned home I wrote a book called The Road More Travelled about our experiences - and about whether truly adventurous travel is still possible in the age of Round The World packages and Grown Up Gap Years. So far I've made some half-hearted efforts to find an agent, but I keep getting distracted by day-dreams about our next trip.
